To my feet, theres no clear difference between the standard EVA foam and the BioMoGo stuff found in the basement of the Trance 8. Im told that Brooks passed up the chance to patent the technology in order for other companies to use the biodegradable foam as a midsole material. The shoe is a high-priced headliner for Brooks this year, and overall, it performs well. Its main advantage is that its relatively light (12 oz.) and smooth striding.
